Upon completion of construction, local Alpharetta restaurant, Butcher & Brew, has just celebrated its Grand Opening. The Atlanta architecture firm behind the design is Baldwin Architectural Group.
This brand new restaurant was built in one of the original buildings in Downtown Alpharetta, which presented a few design challenges that Baldwin Architectural Group was able to overcome. The structure of the floor had to be completely updated and the new keg building was added to the rear of the restaurant. Because this historic building had never been used as a restaurant, a lot of engineering took place to integrate all necessary components.
Baldwin Architectural Group went with an industrial approach to Butcher & Brew’s design. Exposed pipes, track lighting, interior brick walls, and open support beams give this restaurant a rustic feel.
“The interior finishes are always so important on these sort of projects. It really came out super.” Says Christopher Baldwin, owner and architect at Baldwin Architectural Group.
Butcher & Brew is a gourmet sandwich shop that features fun foods, craft beer, and signature cocktails. All the restaurant’s bread is made in-house and all meat is ground and sliced on-site.
The Butcher & Brew’s sister restaurant, South Main Kitchen, is located next door, and both restaurants are owned by Louis Soon.
