We’d like to introduce the first of the two employees who will be running the half marathon in Savannah on November 2nd. We are using this race to raise funds for CURE Childhood Cancer. Every dollar we raise will go straight to CURE, whose two-pronged mission is to provide services to families affected by a childhood cancer diagnosis, as well as to provide grants for targeted research.
Meet Jack Baldwin, one of our two office athletes running the half marathon in Savannah in just a few short weeks! Jack got into running in his early 30s because of how accessible it is and it has become one of his regular workouts. In 2013 Jack ran his first race, and has continued to run races ever since. He wanted Baldwin Architectural Group to do something important together this year and decided to use the half marathon as a means to raise funds for CURE Childhood Cancer, which came to his attention from another employee whose family experienced a childhood cancer diagnosis. Jack said, “I think it’s just cool to channel some of our team’s positive energy into a cause we can work together as a team around.”
Please consider helping us reach our fundraising goal for CURE. Every dollar counts. Please follow the link to our dedicated fundraising page.
